Wed. afternoon, Feb.5, Mrs. Porter Lander MacClintock spoke to the Woman's Club on "The Ordeal of Sir Richard Feverel." She compared and contrasted the images of women and men. Mrs. J. B. Greiner, Mrs. G. B. Herenden and Mrs. Charles W. Braithwaite hosted the meeting. The guests were: Mrs. F. G. Feeley, 1228 Forest avenue, Wilmette; Mrs. Charles Young, Irma Alta, Canada; Mrs. H. B. Hollis, Sheridan Park; Miss McClintock, Lake Forest; Mrs. E. B. Gage, Kahoka, Mo.; Mrs. A. S. Bierce, Chicago; Miss Hutchinson, Ottumwa, Ia.; Mrs. O. G. Corns, 1231 Forest avenue, Wilmette; Mrs. Mirkland, Highland Park; Mrs. A. J. Cope, Champaign, Ill.
The philanthropic department will meet all-day at the Woman's Club, Fri, Feb. 14.
Miss Hunt will lecture on "High or Serious Comedy", illustrated by "Lady Windemere's Fan," Feb. 19.
Thurs. Feb. 20, the Woman's Club will visit the annual exhibit of local artists at the Art Institute of Chicago. Miss Porter, of Evanston, will conduct the tour at 10:00. Mrs. Frank L. Joy will serve as hostess.
Valentines Day will be celebrated the evening of Fri., Feb. 14 with a game of hearts.
A party for members' children will be held Sat., Feb. 15 at 2:30.
There will be a junior masquerade the evening of Feb. 15 at 8 o'clock.
