- The Polo Association of the West awarded the western tournament to the Onwentsia club of Lake Forest. Members of Onwentsia who will probably take part in the tournament are Stanley Field, James Ward Thorne, R. R. McCormick, Francis Johnson, Harold Bryant, John Borden II, Walter Brewster, Prentiss Coonley, Edward Hasler, John Towne, Volney Foster, Noble Judah, Jr., Joseph Medill Patterson, M. Metcalf and Charles Garfield King. Mr. King, however, has not played since he broke his leg in a scrimmage a year ago.
