- Glencoe will be getting its first Methodist Church building. The construction is organinzed by a building committee organized by S. B. Pope, J. Powers, Don E. Marsh, W. S. Hamm and William Fox. The building is expected to be ready for dedication by Sept. 1, 1914. It will be located opposite the Woman's Library Club. Early in 1909, there began to be an influx of Methodists to Glencoe, and that is when plans to construct a church began.
