- Wilmette passed an ordinance to establish a beach. An ordinance was passsed to require property owners who want to build stores in residential districts, to get signatures of two thirds of the residents before proceeding. An ordinance was drafted to establish a department of health, but the decision was deferred. Appropriations were allowed for improving some streets. A plan to have the trustees authorize the establishment of a new subdivision. No action was taken on an "L" terminal proposal.
