- The Wilmette Fine Arts Commission 2008 Young Artists Recital was held Oct. 26 at the Wilmette Community Recreation Center. It featured 24 student singers, instrumentalists and dances. The dancers were Abby Albrecht, Frances Connolly, Shelby Rae Degina, Donnie Gong, Rachel and Rebecca Nesnevich, Alanna Rieser, Emily Rutherford, Jenna Scaccia, Veronica Sidney, Devin Smith, Julia Wolf and Kristen Yang. Pianists were Youngjin Kim, Natalie Nedvetsky, Raef Sengupta, Nat Swinger and Kirstn Takaki. Singers were Annie Baret and Catherine Jameson, Glen Feinstein. Others were cellist Brendan Gridley, violinists Kiran Baakkonen and Emily Chen.
