Press, Information Counsel To Speak at Wilpine ORT Gad Ranon, Israel counsel for press and information, will be the guest speaker at the Wilpine Chapter of Women's American ORT meeting at noon Tuesday in the home of Mrs. Joseph Kaplan, 3226 Hill Ln., Wilmette. Mr. Ranon will speak on ORT schools in Israel and the relationMr. Ranon ship b e t w e e n schools and government there. He has been in government service since 1960 following his work in the Israel defense forces. Prior to his assignment to the Chicago Metropolitan area, he was first secretary of the Israel Embassy in Manilla. New officers for the chapter include Mrs. Benjamin Z. Gould, president; Mrs. Irving Dexter, Mrs. Joseph Kaplan, Mrs. Philip J. Green and Mrs. Edward Fischl, vice presidents. Others are Mrs. Chester White, recording secretary; Mrs. Meyer Reizman, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Lee Schulman, financial secretary; and Mrs. Sylvan Salk, treasurer. All are from Wilmette.
