Area's Frank Miller Starts Fifth Year As Conductor of Evanston Symphony Frank Miller of Northbrook, principal cellist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, is starting his fifth year as conductor of the Evanston Symphony Orchestra. Featured on this season's program will be pianist Emilio del Rosario, Oct. 28; saxophonist Fred Hemke, Jan. 27; French horn player Richard Oldberg, Mar. 17; and dancer Sybil Shearer and her company, May 5. Mr. del Rosario is a faculty member at the Music Center of the North Shore in Winnetka. The Orchestra Sets 19 Concerts Would you N,S. Art League Faculty Members Set Demonstration Members of the North Shore Art League will see a demonstration by faculty members at 8 tonight in the studio at Winnetka Community House. Bruce Fink, 2324 Walters Av., Northbrook, will show some of the methods of using fiberglass or polyester resin as a sculptural medium. He will model a complete piece of sculpture and prepare it for casting. George Rocheleau of Chicago will do an oil from a still life setting. He will demonstrate the use of color. Joan Taxay-Weinger (Mrs. Paul Weinger) of Highland Park will do a still life in oil without using a formal arrangement. The emphasis will be on composition, using recollected patterns. John Heritage Wright of Evanston will do figure drawing and painting from a live model. Persons interested in joining the group or in enrolling in any of the demonstrators' classes can attend the meeting, which also marks the opening of the summer students' show.
