Local Woman Creates Items for Holiday Sales Mrs. John A. Dawson of Winnetka has made over 500 porcelain and ceramic articles which will be among items to be sold at the eighth annual Holiday Splendor Christmas sale sponsored by the Woman's Auxiliary of the Central Baptist Children's Home. The sale will take place beginning at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the North Shore Baptist Church, Berwyn and Lakewood Avs., Chicago. Proceeds of the benefit will go to the children's home in Lake Villa, 111., which accommodates orphans, children from broken homes, or those with psychiatric problems. Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Johntz of Wilmette will present a program about Christmas decorations at 1:15 p.m. Tea and sandwiches will be served at 11:30 a.m. Mrs. Kenneth Petersen of Deerfield is sale chairman and among those assisting her is Mrs. Ralph Johns of Wilmette, table decorations.
