Charles B. Stearns Jr., 67, of Evanston, father of a Wilmette resident, died Dec. 30 in Memorial Hospital, Clarksville, Tenn. Mr. Stearns had been the publisher's advertising representative with C. B. Stearns, Inc. in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Katherine; a son, Warren C. of Wilmette; a sister, Mrs. Charlene Maydwell of Black Mountain, N.C.; a brother, Thomas M. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Services were held Jan. 3 in the Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, Evanston.
