Mr. Springer ha s been a r es ident of Wilmette since childhood and is well known to th~· older residents of the community. His candidacy is receiving the unqualified endorsement of these friends and acquaintances. In connection with Mr. Springer's candidacy, the March issue of the Assembly Bulletin, published by the Legislative Voters league, states: "He is ending his first term, during which he has shown aptitude for legislative work and has made a very good record." The fmal contest in this territory will he held on April 25. and the winner will be awarded a scholarship with a cash value of $1.000. Second' and third winners will be given scholarships with cash values of $500 and $300. Thereafter, the contests will be gin to take on a national aspect, as the territory will include groups of states. The final contest will be held on June 6, before President Coolidge.
