The warm weather has increased the patronage heavily, according to Beachmaster Francis Bradley. There have been more than 1,000 bathers each day since the beginning of the warm spell. During the week-day mornings, the beach is filled with children of all ages. Some of them arrive at the lake front two hours hefore the guards come on duty, and play in the sand. Every time an older person is seen coming down the stairs, the children jump up and run in the beach house to be the first in line to get to the dressing rooms. Others who are all dressed for the water and have their robes on, linger near the <ihore as they are prohibited from taking the plunge until the guards arrive. Imaginative Motorists Give Bathera a Thrill "'Nhere are the life guards, quick?" two excited motorists exclaimed at the Wilmette bathiug heach Monday evening ; "we saw two bodies floating near the shore," they continued.
