On Friday, November. 20, me1t a:-td women members of vanous churches and other organizations of Wilmette, met at the Wilmette Parish Methodist church to discuss the subject of Religious Education. Thomas H. West, president of the Wilmette Church council, presided at the meeting, and A. J. Coburn acted as secretary. . . n ·r. Frank M. Mc~tbben, asso.ctate secretary of the Chicago counctl of Religious Education, made an earnest appeal for a greater Chri~tian influence in the home as well as m the public chools While expressing his absolute confidence in the youth of today, he maintained that many of our young people are acquiring a 17 -year-old sc ientific education and a ten-~ear_-old religiou · education..
