It was quite remarkable that children unexperienced in dramatic work work were able to interpret the lines in a highly sati~factory way. People were enthusiastic in their praises, and the young people arc surely to be compi im en ted. Not only did they enact the play with 1; unusual merit, but they made all their stage settings, printed their own tickets, superintended their sale, did all their own advertising, . made their costumes, indeed, did all that was done to make the effort successful. A small admittance fee brought in about $100, a large part of which they have sent to the Fallon Public school in Chicago, which has in connection with it a department for crippled children. Dusolina Giannini, dramatic soprano, hailed as a successor to the beloved Patti, will give a recital at New Trier high school Friday evening, January 8, under the auspices of the .
