The mid-year class of 25, the last class to lea vc from the old building, will be graduated at the clo ' e of the first semester, January 28, and there is every prospect that it will be pos sible to open classes in the new building February l. Registration for the second .semeste r, with the added attraction of the new location , promises to be unu sually large, and the college offices at 2944 South Michig-an hou)cyard will he open during the holidays for the convenience of those who wish to (~iscuss courses, etc. The Fine Arts department of the \\.oman's Catholic club of Wilmette has planned an elaborate program for the next meeting of the club Friday afernoon. January 8, at 2:30 o'clock, at the home of the hostess, Mrs. M:. L. O'Brien of 1120 Ashland avenue. Mrs. Harry Bettinghaus will give a paper on Current Events; Mrs. W. L. Ballard will review "My Brother's Face" by Dham Gopal Mukeyi, and 1\frs. B. 1\1. Lupton will read a paper on "The Art of Homemaking." The . peaker will be Dr. 1f. A. hby Jones of Atlanta, president of the Inter-Race I elation:; Commission which is doing the bigge t piece of constructive work on the problem of race relations in the South that has been undertaken since the Civil war. Dr. Jones is the n1inister of one of the largest churches in the South and is therefore a reliable exponent of the pogressive pub lic opinion in the South on what has been a seemingly insoluble social prohkm.
