I VJLLAGE OF WILMETTE - ·~· NOTICE OF ELECTION At said election the following questions will be submitted to the voters for their consideration: · ~hall the territory contiguous to the Village of Wilmette, Cook County, Illinois, bounded and described as follows, be annexed to said Village of Wilmette, to-wit: That part of Section Twenty-nine (29) in Township ( 42) North, Range Thirteen (13.) East of the rhird Principal Meridan, lying westerly and southerly of the center line of Reinwald Avenue and of Avoca Road sometimes called ·Happ Road, and all that 'part of the east three-quarters (34) of Section Thirty ( 30) in said Towns hip and Range, lying south and west of the center line of Happ Road, and the west half (~) of the south west quarter (1f4) of said Section l'hirty ( 30) , also that part of Section Thirty-one (31) in said Township and Range, lying east of the east rightof-way line of the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois, and the Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad Company; all that part of the south half (~) of Section · TlVenty-five (25) in Township Forty-two (42) North, Range Twelve (12) East of the Third Principal Meridan, lying east of the thread of the stream of the North Branch of the Chicago River, and all of Section Thirty-two (32) in Township Forty-two ( 42) North, Range Thirteen ( 13) East of the Third Principal Meridan, lying southwesterly of the center line of Reinwald Avenue. All of said above described property being in Cook County ~ Illinois? Shall the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Wilmette, Cook County, Illinois, establish~ maintain and conduct a supervised recreation system and levy an annual tax to be known as "playground and recreation tax" for the conduct and maintenance thereof of not less than one and one-third mills on each dollar of assessed valuation of taxable property within the corporate limits of said Village, all as authorized and provided by an Act entitled, "An Act to provide for the acquisition, equipment, conduct and maintenance of public playgrounds and recreation centers in and by cities, towns and villages of less than one hundred and fifty thousand inhabitants," in force July 1, 1921? Which Election will be opened at 7:00 o'clock in the morning, and will continue open until 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day.
