NEVER r------------------------· GasModel Association to Build Gas Heated Homes 1 16 WILMETTE LIFE -July· 9, .1926 HAD A NAME Thirty-six mo.lel homes, each equipped to use gas for all fuel purposes, will be built in 28 of the larger American cities this summer, according to a recent announcement of the American Gas association-. In addition to gas stoves, water heaters, incinerators, and radiant fires, the homes v·ill be equipped with gasfired heating plants. The builders in each citv are under agreement to erect not less than nine similar homes, following the original specifications, which will bring the total to 288 model homes throughout the countrv. Three ·hundred gas companies throughout the Cnited States have put in force special rates for gas house heating, and the number of gas fired heating plants is increa sing steadily. Miss Dorothy Glover, 1240 Forest avenue, has returned after completing her freshman year at the University of Wisconsin, and has left with her father to join her mother in Cali fornia.
