zz September 17, 1926 WILMETTE LIFE Columbia Music School Begins A~tumn Seaaiona The Wilmette branch of the Columbia School of Music, under the direction of Miss Anna Chinlund and located at 627 Eleventh street, opens this week. Miss Chinlund, who continues her work here after a long period of successful teaching in this community, has received the greater part of her training under Clare Osborne Reed, director of the Columbia school, one of the foremost educators in the United States. An important announcement in connection with the opening of school is that of the consolidation with the Columbia school of the Mary Wood Chase School of Musical Art. Miss Chase has long been known along the north shore, and her school has long stood as one of the foremost institutions of ;ts kind. The branch schools established by her wilt be continued under the present policy.
