Speed, manager of the Evanston Street Railway company. The paving was done by the company. The remainder of the street is t0 be paved by special assessment against the property owners, it is expected . Completion of the new concrete pavement provides northwest Evanston with its on~y suitable outlet to the west. Central street is now the only paved street between Church street on the south and Wilmette avenue on t.he north which runs through to Ridge road.
