Stars itr Kemper Win Over Culver Boys, 23-0 Before a homecoming crowd of mor.e · than 2,000 people, the Kemper Mil~tary school Yellow Jackets overwhelmtngly defeated the Culver, Indiana. Military academy eleven at Booneville, Mo., Monday afternoon. Culver, it is said, · outweighed Kemper seventeen pounds to the man. Kemper opened the hostilities by punching over a touchdown in the first five minutes of play, .Howard Winberg, of Wilmette, fullback, plunging through the tine for the six points . Culver took a brace in the second quarter and held the Kemper cadets s·c oreless. Coming back in the third quarter . the Kemper eleven carried the ball to Culver's 3-yard tine where Holmes droppe rl hack and booted ·Over a neat drop-kick. \Vinberg and McClure both went over for touchdowns in the final period and Holmes made good on both trials for extra point. The line plunging of Winberg, the punting· of Johnson and the passing of Anderson were outstanding- features of the contest, which tied the cpunt between the two schools, each having won three of the six intet sectional contests.
