WILMETTE LIFE February 4, 1927 Relates Story of "The Master Painter" A program of unusual interest has been arranged for the Wilmette Sunday Evening club this week when Alton Packard. world renowned cartoonist, is to be the speaker. Mr. Packard has the distinction of being the first cartoonist ever to grace a Sunday Evening c I u b program. Packard may be said to have two distinct sides to his artistry- that which is applicable for week-day presenta.t ion, and the other of a sacred tone and adapted to more serious occasions.
