While 'not in the least over-confident, · the boys are prepared to give all contenders a fast time and are expecting to be one of the two teams in the championship The playing game Saturday night. schedule · has not as yet been received but entries have been sent in by Antioch, Arlington Heights, Deerfield Shields, Des Plaines, Evanston, Gurnee, Libertyville, Palatine, Wauconda and Waukegan. The tournament promises to be one of the best cage exhibitions ever held in this part of the state. It is played under the auspices of the Illinois Athletic association and is one of a number of such meets being held all over the state. It will be played in the Waukegan gym which is said to be one of the finest in the middle west. Adequate seating facilities for well over 2,500 people are assured and the playing court measures 94 by SO feet on a floor of 120. by 70 feet. The winner of the district tournament will be automatically eligible for the sectional meet, to be held at Joliet the following week. To the winner of the sectional tourney also goes the privilege of entering the state meet, which will. be held at the University of Illinois a short time later.
