Board of Education election Saturday, April 9. Mr. Gates it to be a candidate for re-election as president · of the boa.rd, while Mr. ·Phelps will succeed himself as a member of that body. Both have bern prevailed upon to he candidates for .r e-election because of their splendid records and also in view of the fact that they have had a tremendously important part i.n the present a.mbitiou<; building program of the high school. Two offices will be filled at this election, with Walter T. Fisher of Winnetka as unopposed candidate for ·the office of Township ·~ichool trustee, and John A. Schildgen of Wilmette, as unopposed candidate for township constable. · The Town meeting is to be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Winnetka Community House at which time, fotlowing the selection of a Moderator there will be heard the annual report's of township officers, appropria tions made, expenses defrayed and new business discussed. The Town meeting is, of course, open to all the voter~ of the township. Candidates in the Town election were nominated at a record meeting of the New Trier Citizens' "league, which is comprised of representative citizens of four villages in New Trier, Jacob M.
