Hanna professor of Political Science at Western Reserve university. Cleveland, has accepted the chair of Political Science at Northwestern university to succeed Prof. P. 0. Besides being a master of the theory connected with political science, Dr. Hatton has applied his theories to actual government. Notable among his contrjbutions was drawing up the new charter for the city of Cleveland. Dr. Hatton graduated from Franklin college, Indiana, in 1898, serving there sever a 1 years as a member of the faculty. Theological Seminary The Rev. Frederick C. Grant, D. D .. former assistant at St. Luke's Episcopal church, Evanston, now connected with the Berkeley divinity school at · Middletown, Comi., has accepted the Western Theological seminary deanship to succeed the Rev. William C. DeWitt, recently resigned . . Dr. Grant is expected to tak L up his residence in Evanston tH' '\ t September where . the new build ings of the seminary may be erected. He is rated as probably foremost among the younger scholars of the Episcopal church in the United States. He is author of several volumes and the editor in chief of the Anglican Theological review. .
