It was very interesting to see how the underground cables came in and were attached to the answering jacks and how the operator took and sent the calls. They are well equipped with fire fighting in strum ~nts. In the basement they keep sand, asbestos blankets. gloves and fire extinguishers. On the second floor there is an asbestos curtain which is dropped in front of the switch boards in case of fire. The second took an early lead when Paul Soule sank a shot, then Briggs sank a long shot from the side of the floor. The half ended 2 to 2.
