New Trier High school swimmers pve a. double beating to Morton last Saturday afternoon at New Trier when the grey-and-green seniors were victorious by the score of 39 to ~ and the juniors conquered 34 to 16. ' The home team jumped into the lead when Captain Bennett took first place in the forty yard swim; Morton, bowever, tied the score as Tucker of that school took first honors in the 100 yard freestyle even.t. The visitors forged ahead .as a result of the 23) yard freestyle · race, as McDonald of the Cicero team garnered first place. in this event. The junior meet went against the home squad when · Donicek took first in the forty yard swim, but Coach Jackson's men came back by taking the 100 yard swim, the breaststroke and backstroke, the diving and the relay. Larner of the New Trier juniors, scored the highest number of individual points.
