Stolp school pupils, February 17. The demonstration will be held in the school gyaanasium and wiD begin at · 7 :~ o'clock. Pupils of the first grades of the school are to give an Indian dance and are making their own co~;tumes under the direction of Miss Frances Donnelly, art supenisor of the Wilmette schools. Miss Olga Stopka, physical traininst instructor of the school, is directing the danees under the supenision of Daniel M. Davis, director of recreation. Dudley C. Stone, instructor of boys' physical training, will direct the games, which form a part of the program. Additional to the games and dances, formal gymnastics, wand and marching drills will be given. The entire program has been ptanned to illustrate every phase of physical training employed in the Wilmette schools, according to Mr. Davis. OCCUPIES NEW HOME Charles E. Olewine, north shore builder. has moved into his new home at 225 Lincoln drive, Glencoe. He was formerly located at 732 Park avenue, Wilmette. Lionel Robertson of Ravinia, interior decorator and lecturer, exhibited sO!I'e unique designs from Paris and Mun1ch in his address before the North Shore Art league on · February 1, in Katz haD of Winnetka Community House. Mr. Robertson ~ke 'frequently on the league programs last year and chose for his subject for the last meeting, "Modern Design in Interior Decoration." He also showed a group of slides from the interior of the "Ile de France," luxurious steamship of the French line. This meeting also marked the official close of the midwinter Art exhibit. CONVALESCING Norman E. Dally, who has been seriously ill at St. Luke's hospital, Chicago, since Thanksgiving, is now convalescing at his home at 1031 Oak street, Winnetka. E · 61blt to -Horv Gre111 Boser& Lear· Their Stull The entire routine of traioiq which a boxer must undergo, from the first setting up exercises to workouts with · sparriag partners, will be demonstrated at the annual Boxing and Wrestling show, sponsored by the Wilmette Playground and Recreation board, March 9. Paul A. Kier, boxing instructor and former welterweight champion of the east, will stage the demonstration and illustrate some of the favorite exercises and training rules of Dempsey, Tunney and champions .of other generations. In addition to the exhibition, six boxing bouts, two wrestling matches and an exhibition by outside talent will form a part. of the program. Two new tumblers reported for practice last Friday and Glen W. Gathercoal, wrestling and acrobatic instructor, is encouraJed about the outlook for an acrobatic exhibition, which may yet be added to the show. Arthur Sommerfeld, John Moran, Harry Proft, Robert Brown, Robert Lackner and William Christianson are among ·the new wrestl~rs showing unusual promise and who wiU have part in the program.
