Wilson is the Cbaimian t?f the Wilmette Scouting association. His interest was first aroused when be attended the troop meeting of the old troop 1, which was the first. troop west of the Allegheny mountams ~o · receive a charter. In 1922 be was gtv~n his first official scout office as chairman of the troop committee of Troop 2. . He still bas a position on that committee. · Mr. Wilson is also interested 1!1 camping and was one of the camp directors of the finest camp Troop 2 has ever bad. He has never lost interest in scottting and is doing more work in this connection than he has ever done before. PATROL HOLDS MEETING On January 30, patrol 2, the Silver Fox patrol, of Troop 3, held a meeting at the home of Paul Strubling, 1747 Washington avenue. It has been our custom to make our main subject some important second or first class test. On this day, however, tracking was the main subject which many of the boys passed. Troop 8 has planned a big birthday cake to celebrate Scouting's eighteenth birth- day. Charles Stiles of the Wolf patrol got a Scout Diary last Thursday for the best inspection record. The diary was presented by Edward Kunz, Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. . There are three Scouts receiving badges this Saturday at the Court of Honor: Scout John Dernehl, a second-class badge; Charles Stiles, sec· ond-class; and Roger Delauder, first class.-Roger · Delander, Patrol Leader of Wolf Patrol, Troop 8. Kenilworth Troop Take. Eflicienq Award Apia Troop 13 of Kenilworth comes out ahead again during the competition in January by winning the Troop Efficiency Award, which is an engraved leather shield presented to a different troop each month. Troop 13 was followed closely by Troop 33 of Highland Park and Troop · 4 of Wilmette.
