SYMWL OF QUALITY AND SERVICE MRS. HELENA E. LEE DIES Mrs. Helena E. Lee of 818 Sixteenth street died Thursday, March 1. Services were held Saturday afternoon, March 3, from her home and interment was at Graceland cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Lee are her daughter, Mrs. Ester Sherman, her sister, ~Irs. Evelyn J. Elston, and a brother, Charles C. Johnson. She was a member of Minerva Conclave No. 1; T. K. Sunshine chapter, 0. ·E. S.; Rogers Park Rebekah lodge No. 109, L. 0. F.; Matligan Corp. No. 141, \V. R. C. FoDowing a few days' iUness of pneumonia, Clarence Moore Puhlman of 623 Washington avenue, Wilmette,. passed away Monday, February 'D·. Funeral senices were held the foUowing Thursday at St. Augustine's Episcopal church, in which he had been an active worker · for many ·years, and interment was in the family vault in Lake Forest. His widow, Mrs. Florence S. Pohlman, survives his passing.. Mr. Pohlman, who was well known along the entire north shore, was born in Plymouth, Wis. He was the son of Otto Pohlman and Anna Moore Puhlman and a descendant of Holland pioneers of New York. His life of enterprise and success reflected the spirit of these early forbears. Mr. Pohlman was western manager and. member of the firm of J. H. Lane · and company of New York and Chicago, and a member of the South Shore Country club, Chicago Athleti-c club, and Shawnee Country club. MRS. EUGENE HATCH DIES Mrs. Eugene A. Hatch, a former resident of Wilmette, died suddenly at her home in East Qrange, N. J ., on February 4. Mrs. Hatch was the eldest daughter of the late Mrs. Mary B. Barry and a sister of Mrs. John A. MacLean of Wilmette, and of Dr. George F. Barry of Evanston. She is survived by her hq~band and three children, Loren E. Hatch of New York Kenneth B. Hatch of Harrisburg and Mrs. Frederick Meeder of East Orange. PASSES AWAY MARCH I Abraham E. Moon, U2 Dupee place, passed away March 1, at the age of ?0 year~. Funeral services were held ·~! Belmt.
