. In recommending a lrOtaP of precinet committeemen deliiaateti oppos~d to "Crowe-cont~ canclidates," the Wilmette Voters· AdYilory cOmmittee, mad~ up of repretellt*tiTes. appointed by various Wihaette churches, clubs and civic organizations, deClares that it is following ~closely .the wishes of the Wilmette electorate u indicated in the anti-Crowe expressions in the unmistakable anti-Crowe sentiment in the balloting of a year· ago. A statement issued by tilt committee this week explains its action as follows: S.. DeciW Oppa.itioa "The decided opposition to Crowecontrolled candidates, leads this committee to endorse a list of committeemen who will support the expressed sentiment of Wilmette. "In April, 1926, Wilmette gave heavy plurality to Judge Trude for nomination as County ] udge, against Assistant State's Attorney Savage, Mr. Crowe's candidate. "M.'r. Savage was nominated, and Wilmette cast a majority against his election and . favored a Democrat, Judge Edmund K. Jarecki. "A committeeman in each precinct is elected on your primary ballot. He recommends your judges and clerks of election. In June he sits in convention to nominate your Circuit Court judges. .
