While checking over the files, however, Miss Whitmack states she has discovered that there is an unusually large number of are books belonging to the library which evidently . gracing other libraries. Many of these are being sought by other patrons and because of the heavy demand upon the library facilities, the continued absence of these volumes greatly impairs its ability to meet the needs of its patrons. "Spring has come," declares Miss Whitmack, "and along with the cup of sugar for Mrs. Jones, the four eggs for Mrs. Smith and the bottle of milk for Mrs. O'Reilly, why not the book for the library?" s...-. I ers may attend the annual meeting of the Lake Shore Division of the lUinois State Teachers' association which will be held in Waukegan.
