Mrs. Cope has been in attendance at the National congress of the Daughters of the American Revolution which has been in progress at Washington, D. C. this entire week, · and will bring a report of that meeting to the members of the chapter at the next meeting. It is .hoped that there will be a large atten~ance to greet · Mrs. Cope's return. The ch~pter has held its regular monthly meetings but has constantly felt the absence of Mrs. Cope ·ami has missed her enthusiasm and interest. ·The . meeting in May will mark the chapter's closing for the present season and at that time officers for the coming · year will be elected. The Neighbors club of Ke~ilworth is planning for a benefit bridge tea to be held in the Kenilworth club Wednesday, May 16, at 2 o'clock. Tlie proceeds are to provide cigarets, chocolate bars, ;md delicacies to the disabled veterans in hospitals at Great Lakes and North Chicago. The chairman of co-operation with war veterans and her committee were very grateful to all who made last year's party such a wonderful success and h9pe this affair will fare as well.
