He began his work in San Francisco, later going to New York where his modern window backgrounds for Saks and company, on Fifth avenue, attracted wide attention. This spring Mr. Rothermell came to Chicago, where he was secured as modern art advisor for the Almco gall~ries. It is through the courtesy of the Almco galleries, supplying the furniture, drapes and lamps used in the present Theater guild production, that Mr. ~othermell was sent to the north shore to assist the guild's designers.
