H. Herron, faculty sponsor of the club, was ~warde.d by the judges last week to Joseph R1ddle, 995 Oak street, Winnetka. The picture, an unusual one, was taken just cast of Sunset Ridge Country club located west of Winnetka and is featured on the cover page of this issue. Second prize in the contest was awarded to Richard Rossman for a photograph "snapped" just off the Glenview road near the North Shore Golf club. An engraving of this picture was carried in the March 24 issue. Honorable mention was given to David Riddle, a brother of Joseph. More than a hundred pictures were entered in the contest, many of them of outstanding quality, and the judges experienced considerable difficulty in making their selections. The judges were B. E. Christensen of Hattstrom and Sanders of Evanston, Miss Katherine Murphy of the New Trier faculty, and H. A. Armstrong of Lloyd Hollister Inc. The Troubadour Glee club, made up of north shore men, and which appears nightly over radio station WEHS,. Evanston, is to give its second annual concert at the Evanston Woman's club Friday evening, May 4. The club '""ill be assisted on the program by the Swigart Trio.
