Shore Theaters Dolores C. ostello · Comes to Granada . Bill-O-Fare in "Tenderloin" .__________ The exceedingly popular Dolores Costello comes to the screen of the Gra~ada and Marbro theaters, starting Saturday, May 5, when Marks Bros., will present her in the picture, "Tenderloin." "Tenderloin" is a m e I o d r a m a t i c crook drama affording Dolores one of the best emotional roles she has ever had. . Further than this, it is known that Miss Costello had much to do in selecting the story of the picture, which was writte·n by Melville Crosman. The screen adaptation was made by E. T. Lowe, Jr., and as an indication of what Warner Bros. thought of the work, they assigned the filming of it to Michael Curtis, recognized as one of the mo· st artistic directors in the motion picture field. In this new deluxe offering Miss Costello has an acting role which enables her to play upon the sympathies of her audiences. An innocent girl inveigled into a gang of master crooks through her infatuation for a seemingly honest youth, a member of the gang, she is dragged down and there is nothing to save her from utter degradation except that soundness of character that came to her at birth. It is a thrilling fight against what looks like fate, the odds all seemingly against her and hope as far removed as a miser's pity.
