Among those giving teas were Alpha Omicron Pi, Delta Upsilon, Chi Omega, Sigma Chi, Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Zeta, Beta Theta ·Pi, Phi Kappa Sigma, Phi Delta Theta. Sigma N u, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi, and Gamma Phi Betd.. Dinners were given by Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Psi, Phi M u Delta, Wranglers, and Delta Tau Delta. The Junior-Senior farewell party will be given at Mallinckrodt High school on May 26. It is the custom at tlie school on the Ridge for the Juniors to g-ive a party each year for the graduating class. Mary Louise Cotton was named president of. the New Trier High school Music club at the annual election of officer~ held Thursday, May 10. Norman Hess was chosen vice-president, Patricia Goodhue, !'ecretary, and Leon Dickinson, treasurer. The election was held at the home of Virginia Cordell, 923 Greenleaf avenue, \Vii-· mette. · I Boy Scout T roops (Contributed) To be included among fhe well organized and. effident Boy Scout Troops of \Vilmette is Troop 9, sponsored by St. Joseph's church. Troop 9 meets everv Friday night at the sJmrch, located at Lake and Ridge avenues. Visitors are always welcome and boys interested in becoming Scouts are invited tu attend the meetings, it is announced by the members of the troop. The six students are: Frances Marie Etzbach, Robert Clayton Garretson, Cecile Gray Gilroy, Jack W. Hood, Ralph Stevenson Johansen and Edward Todd Wheeler. All of the honor students have stood in the upper ten per cent of their classes during the two semesters preceding "Honors Day," with the exception of the freshmen, where the first semester's grades are made the basis for the distinction. The exercises are being held in the Universitv Auditorium at 10 o'clock this mor~1ing. . The addresses to be given at the Convocation are being broadcast by the University Station, \VRM, wavelength 272.6 meters or 1,100 kilocycles. A popularity contest is being held this week at Mallinckrodt High school.
