Six star class sloops in their 1928 complexions were slated to open the season of the North Shore Yaeht club yesterday in the first of a series of races. This club's fleet of star class craft compose the largest fleet of stars on the · Great Lakes and · are out for gr eater honors this year than last when they took seventh in the International regatta atA Narragan seJt. Their Saturday race 3 will start thi s week to be held each successive Saturday. Trophies will be contested throughout the season and a sweepstakes award will be made at the close. The Sanitarv di st rict is doing the work which in~lude s putting in permanent moorings, concrete steps, retaining walls and other repa ir operat ions.
