Brethold took out a permit for a $22,000 residence which he is building for Edward G. Walter at 525 Forest avenue. It will be of brick veneer, with attached garage. Neils Buck was granted a permit for another new residence in the twenty hundred block on Highland avenue, a brick veneer building costing $15,()90. A permit was . issued to C. E. Olewine, Wilmette builder. for a brick veneer residence, at 626 Forest avenue, for ] ohn 0. McCue, and costing Another of the May permits was for a $14,000 brick veneer residence which James Laing is building at 224 Greenleaf avenue. Fourteen thousand dollars is also the cost ·of a brick veneer residence for which a permit . was issued to Carl H. Johnson. who is building for L. G. \Vistor, at 1512 Maple avenue. A permit was issued to Otto A. Schulz for a brick veneer residence and garage to cost $11,000 which he is building for E. C.
