Plans for the concerts to be given in Patten gymnasium on September 22 by Sousa and his band are progressing successfully, and numerous ticket sales, as well as reservations of seats, already have been made. Associate alumnae of Northwe·s tern university and the Evanston League of Women Voters, both of which organizations are sponsoring the concerts, have been assured that the great wooden floor will be laid in the gymnasium as early as August 15, and that it will be ready and awaiting the afternoon and evening performances of the band on the 22nd. Music during the afternoon concert will be suitable for children, the evening program being arranged for adults.
