A resolution that this action be taken was adopted by the entire delegate body of the Association at the annual convention at Louisville. The board of directors of the Association has authorized Henry G. Za~der of Chicago, president, to appomt such a commission. The new commission, which is to be established at the request of the Farm Lands Division of the Association, will make its study with special reference to the following matters: 1. The adjustment and equalization of tariff schedules. 2. The excessive taxation of farms. 3. Surplus production. 4. A closer study of marketing products with special consideration of freight rates. 5. It's to be completed by March 1, 1929.
