Thts automatically makes him a member of the board · of governors · of the association. . Mr. McClure is one of the most widely known adver. tising men in the country. He has ·· been prominent in the advertising field for many years and is now vicepresident of the Albert Frank company, advertising agency, and in charge of the Chicago office. It was largely through the efforts of Mr. McClure that the Wilmette Sunday Evening club has brought to the north shore outstanding leaders in religious, educational, and scientific fields, as well as internationally knowgn musical .organizaHe has been presitions. dent of the club since its inception thirteen years ago and has been a prominent figure in \oVilmette civic life during that time. Mr. McClure has made out of the Wilmette Sunday Evening club one of the W. Frank McClure most unique organizations of its kind in the country, arid one which has served as a model for similar clubs in other cities. The Wilmette club and the Chicago Sunday Evening club are pioneers in the field. Besides Mr. McClure several other north shore men were elected to the board of governors of the International Advertising association. They include: Walter Strong, of Winnetka, publisher of the Chicago Daily News, ] ohn Benson, also of Winnetka, president of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and 0. C. Harn. of Evanston, head of the Audit Bureau of Circulation. The board is composed of seventeen members.
