Sithes of Qetroit, Mich Urge Ball Fans to Follow Home Nine to Winnetka I This Sunday afternoon' the Wilmette A. C. baseball team will engage the formidable Winnetka nine at Winnetka Skokie Playfield. An interesting game is in store for all Wilmette fans making the trip to Winnetka, for the teams are evenly matched, and always put up a scrappy contest. The Winnetka team is composed of Northwestern university players, and, because of the fact that their are several Northwestern or ex-Northwestern in the Wilmette lineup, added interest is aroused. "In two previous engagements this season, Winnetka administered a 3 to 2 defeat to the locals, while the Wilmette athletes retailiated with a 5 to 2 win. Winnetka has defeated the· strong Glencoe tea mthree times this year, while Wilmette has suffered two defeats at the hands of Glencoe. S. Hirschberg of Glencoe has offered a cup to the winning team in a threegame round robin series with Wilmette, Winnetka, and ·Glencoe as the competitors. The game next Sunday at Winnetka is a championship tilt and, consequently, it is vital that a. large number of the local fans follow the team to Winnetka and help the lads bring home the bacon.
