BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF WILMETTE: 8eetloa 1: That for the purpose of providing the necesaary funds to purchase and acquire land for a atte for an Incinerating plant, and to purchase, construct, erect and Install on said site, when acquired, an Incinerating plant with the appurtenances, for the use of the Inhabitants of the VUiage of Wtlmette to burn, consume and d i s p o 1 e of garbage, refuse and wute materials for the better protection of. the health· of the inhabitants of said VIllage, there ahall be borrowed on the credit of the VIllage, the BUm of Fifty thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars, and to evidence such loan there shall be, and there Ia hereby ordered and directed to be ISBued the negotiable coupon bonds of aald Vtllage of Wilmette to aald amount. Seetlon G: That when properly executed as aforesaid, said bonds shall be delivered by the Treasurer of said Village to the purchasers of the same from the President of the Board of Trustees of said VUlage at not less than par and the proceeds derived therefrom· shall be used solely for the purpose for which said bonds recite they are issued. Seetlon 1: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed. Seetlon 7: . That this ordinance shall be submitted to the voters of the Vlllage oi Wilmette at a special election which is hereby called to be held in said Village on Tuesday, September 25th, A. D. 1928 and the bonds authorized by this ordinance shall not be issued unless this ordinance is approved at said special election by a majority of such voters voting upon the question.
