The}' will be brought to Evanston by the Evanston League of Women Voters and the Associate Alumnae of Northwestern university. They will offer the first important musical event of the early season after months of quietude which have put the community into mood for the fine thing that this event assures. · His appearance here will be a part of John Philip Sousa's jubilee tour, celebrating a half century service as knight of the baton. Committees from the league and the alumnae association have been in zealqus activity for many weeks, including hot weeks of the late summer, makin£" the arrangements for these concea:ts, trying to spread the ticket sale over as diverse a range as possible, and including the school children all over the city.
