Schacht Taking Place Saturday In St. Francis Xavier church Saturday morning, September 22, at 9 :30 o'clock, Miss Ethel G. Meyers, daugh· ter of Mrs. E. G. Meyers of Davenport, Iowa, will become the bride of John Irving Janette, son of Mr. and Mrs. J, T. Janette of Kenilworth. The Rev. Bernard Brady will officiate at the ceremony and James T. Carney, soloist with the C hicago Symphony orchestra, will sing the High Ma!,s. The service witt be followed by a wedding breakfast at the Orrington hotel. The wedding party will include Miss Gertrude Puefer of Davenport as maid of honor and Miss Mary Loretta Janette of Kenilworth as bridesmaid, Record S. Ferris of Chicago, best man, and W. Scott Twinting of La Grange, usher. After their wedding trip Mr. Janette and his bride wiJl make their home in Rogers Park. Miss Ruth Stoker and Dr. Frederick W. Schacht of Racine, Wis~ were married at 8:30 o'clock, Thursday night, September 14 in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee A.. Stoker of 228 Myrtle' street, Winne't~a. The Stokers were for many years residents of Wilmette. The bride's gown was of ivory satin and net, fashioned with a basQue and gracefully uneven hemline. The cap of the long tulle veil was of honiten lace and orange blossoms. Miss Kath- . erine Smits of Baltimore, Md., who was the maid of. -~~or, was gowned in green chiffon ~--~wo of the small flower girls wore blue, and the other pale pink crepe de chine. The bride's nephew, who served as ringbearer. was in white. Dr. Edward Schacht of Detroit was the best man and the ushers included Leroy Stoker and Milton Schacht of Racine. The Schachts have left for a motor trip and will make their future home at Rochester, Minn., where Dr. Schacht is on the staff at Mayo Brothers' hospital.
