Eckhart of Wilmette is president has announced the seri. es of Chamber' Music concerts which have ·been arranged for this season. · The M uenzer trio will open. the p·r ogram on Sunday, November 4, at the K~nilworth Assembly hall. The second attraction of the season will be Amy Neill's stringed quartet on Scmday, January 13. ·The Muenzer trio will return on March 3, for the second appearance of the season. The Barere \Vood Wind en~emble which will make its first appearance this vicinity, will close the series on April 14. This ensemble is well-known in the East, particularly in New York City, but is not as well known in this part of the country because it has appeared few times outside of New York . The subscriptions to the concerts are sold in the form of coupon tickets which are good for any date. Th~y may be exchanged for each concert or they may all be exchanged for one musicale. The other officers of the committee in addition to the president, Mrs. Eckhart, are Walter Marx, treasurer, and Mrs. A. B. Spach, secretary. opening October 18 at the Wilmette Woman's dub, has been summoned as follows : Children up to third grade will meet at 3 :30 p, m.; third and fo~rth grade at 4 :30 p. m.; fifth and sixth grade at 5 :30; seventh and eighth grade at 6 :30 p. m. All pupils will be givene the privilege of attending Mrs. Weckler's classes at the Edgewater Beach hotel the first Saturday of each month. All former pupils are welcome to come the opening day to dance. Mrs. Weckler has the new dances introduced by the two societies to which she belongsJ The American Society of Teachers of Dancing, meeting yearly in New York, and The Chicago Association of Dancing Masters, meeting monthly in Chicago. She teaches teachers at these meetings as well as being a member. Among the new dances are the "Campus Drag," "Ecstacy Glide," and the "Tresse." Herbert Thompson, a young man of exceptional ability, will play for all classes. Mrs. v.,r eckler is to teach for the P. T. A. of Glencoe this year as well as for the P. T. A. of Joliet. These classes wiJl add to the number of 1,500 weekly scholars instructed last year by Mr. and Mrs. 'Veckler. The Martine school of dancing is in its seventysixth year. Miss Margaret Korrady. formerly of Kenilworth, now of the Orrington hotel, left October 2, for . Stoneleigh school, Rye Beach, N. H., where she is entering her sophomore year. -o-- CLASS PRESIDENT William Budinger, 1731 Walnut avenue, sophomore at the University of Illinois, was elected president of ' his class this week at the regular class elections. Mr. Budinger is a graduate of New Trier Township High school and has many friends on the north shore. · The K·e nilworth Garden club met Friday, September 28, at the home of Mrs. Mark Cresap, 535 Warwick road Kenilworth.
