The robber carried a pistol and held a handkerchief in front of his face. He entered through a rear door of the house and after taking the valuables escaped before police could be summoned. No trace of him had been found late Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Warshawsky is the daughter of Morris Eller, city collector of Chicago. She said that she had taken her jewelry from a safety deposit vault in a bank early Tuesday afternoon only a few hours before the robbery.
