The Sears family is one of the oldest families on the north shore. Mr. Sears is a graduate of Yale university. He has had broad experience along financial lines, having been associated with various concerns of national repute. He was a former director of the Wilmette State bank, but during the world war he resil!nPd to become a captain in the United States Army. Among other interests, Mr. Sears was in active management of the Kenilworth Water cqmpany until that compan:v sold to the Village of Kenilworth. W. B. Robinson. New Trier has an impressive record thus far this season. All of it3 games, with the exception of the tie game with Waukegan, have been won by derisive scores. Deerfield'·3 record is not so impressive, but the team has shown strength in recent games. Last Saturday Deet:field held the undefeated Evanston High school team to a 2 to 0 victory. New Trier is probably Deerfield's greatest rival, and a battle royal is expected. ' Last year New Trier sent the Deerfield boys home on the short end of a 19 to 6 score. In 1926 New Trier lost to the Highland Park school 20 to 0. Coach Ashenbach a1,nounced tKis week that . the starting lineup for New Trier probably would be the same as in the Oak Park game. If New Trier can defeat Deerfield Saturday, it will have only two obstacles in the way of an undefeated record-Streator and Evanston.
