Shantz has advised Wilmette residents who wish to send Christmas presents to foreign countries to mail early. Art Institute in Tribute to Franz Schubert's Work In regard to the univers!ll hom~ge being paid to the great mus1cal genms, Franz Schubert, on the one hundredth anniversary of his birth, every organization having anything to do with music or musical instruments is called upon to assist in commemorating the event. The Art Institute of Chicago responds with pardonable pride when it calls attention to the fact that for nineteen years it has been giving two concerts every Sunday afternoon dur:ing the season: in Fu!lertol_l hall, at \'·;hich Schubert s melod1es, w1th others, have been constantly on the program.
