Mr. Hollister had been a re sident uf \Vilm ette for seve nteen years . an~ was prominent in local Masonic ctrcles, having · se rved for several years. as ~n officer of \Vilmette Chapter, No. 2J3, Royal Arch ~fasons. He had r~cent~y been elect ed second highest ~fhcer ~n the Chapter. He was associated m busines with C. ~L McDonald, north shore automobile dealer. Surviving Mr. Hollister are . his widow, ~lr s. Jennie Slossom Hollt s ~er. and two daughters, Jeanette Loutse, and Lucia Mary . Services for Mr. Hollister wilt be held Saturdav morning at 10:30 o'clock at Scott's Funeral Home on Central avenue vrith Wilmette Ma sons conductin~ the rites. Burial will be at Kenosha, Wis. Pratt, Sherman, and Rudolph, not the least distingui.;hed of whom is that incredably versatile flutist and baritone, Dr. Ranson M. Sherman of 44 Briar road, Winnetka. Society note: Mrs. Ranson M. Sherman. "formerly Miss Helen \Vhite of Wilmette," is vacationing in Cincinnati, "Oho," according to Dr. Sherman.
