Leonard of the Skokie Motor company of ~fain street, north shore Ford distributor, exhibited a letter yesterday which he h.ad received from Paris. It had been written by the Winnetka man t\vo weeks ago. It was an order for one of the latest Ford A. ~!odels and the order specified that it be delivered to the door of his \\'innetka holl.J..e on the morning of February 6. That's the dav the \\'innetkan expects to reach- home afte r having taken a vacation in Europe. "The new Ford will be at the buyer· ~ home on the morning oi Februarv 6 ,., said ~f r. Leonard . - ' When the New York Automobile Show opens Saturday it will be found that the Chevrolet Motor company has again been awarded first place at the show. This award carries with it the honor position in the exhibit, an award coveted by all manufacturers because of its allotment on a strict merit basis. Each year the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce which sponso··-; the show makes the award. And each year the standard of computation has been the same. ~fanufacturers are ranked strictly on the amount of business transacted during the fiscal year ending August prior to the time the showing is held. Chevrolet's choice once more for this . signal honor serves to em;lhasize the position of leadership the company has assumed during recent years. It also serves to open auspiciously a year which it is predicted will see the company surpassing all of its former sales and production recorcis. The new line of sixes which Chevrolet · will display at the show this vear has alreadv been vie\.,·ed at advance showings throughout the country hy millions of people. The first of the deliveries of the new car are scheduled to take place throughout the country immediately after January 1. . ~ EVER.VTHING AUTOMOIILE ./d,.elle · t NEVE It CLOSED The Too Much PlayToo much play in your steering gear?
